The Development Projects are another side of PROYDE´s promotional actions. In order to facilitate the process by which the Projects are selected, managed, developed and evaluated, we have classified the actions we take in impoverished countries into five categories:
Education Projects: The objective of these Projects is the funding of infrastructure, materials and equipment, or the training of human resources from educative entities, both formal and adult education.
Development Projects: These Projects are designed to finance infrastructure, equipment, material or training of human resources from non educational programs or institutions: empowerment of women, health, agriculture, manufacturing, infrastrucutre, etc.
Both Education and Development Projects are of three different type:
Projects of construction of new infrastructures.
Projects of adquisition of equipment and/or materials.
Projects of rennovation, expansion or improvement of educational works or development of those already existing.
Operational Projects: The purpose of these Projects is to support the financing of operational costs of programs and development projects which are underway.
Training Projects for Educators and Local Development Agents: These Projects aim to provide scholarships for future native leaders of educational and/or development projects.
Summer Projects: These Projects allow groups of volunteers to be sent abroad during the summer for the completion of work on PROYDE´s various Projects in execution.
Emergency Projects: The purpose of these Projects is to help mitigate the consequences of emergencies caused by natural disasters or armed conflicts.
