The primary commitment of Change the World is transparency with each donor regarding the management, progress, and accomplishments of the project that they have supported.
Specifically:
Change the World promises to inform donors when financing for the project has reached 100% and when the project has begun.
Projects will be available to accept donations for a specified time (typically 180 days) which will always come included with information about the project. Additionally, donors will always be able to see the total amount needed to finance the project and the amount raised at any given time.
If the donation period ends and the project has not reached 100% of its necessary funding, all money raised will be directed toward the proposed project. PROYDE will then consider increasing the donation period or will withdraw the financing proposal.
Change the World promises to inform donors about the evolution of the project up to its implementation via the Change the World website. We can also inform donors of project progress via email, provided that they have formally registered as users of Change the World. PROYDE understands that its promise to “only use registration data to communicate matters related to Change the World” applies to project-related information as well. Donors may also waive their right to be informed via email, if desired.
PROYDE commits to send each donor that has been identified as a registered user a certificate of proof of their donation which may be used for tax exemption purposes. PROYDE´s Department of Human Resources will stay in contact with the donor to information that it has not received upon registration as a user of Change the World.
